Two pathways for researchers and industry partners
Both services are operated by specialist microbiologists within the Centre for Microbiome Research at Queensland University of Technology, housed in a purpose-built facility at the Translational Research Institute, Brisbane. Access Our Isolate Collection
Request authenticated, cryopreserved microbial isolates from the AHMB collection for use in your research or commercial program. Each isolate is characterised by whole genome sequencing and supplied with a Certificate of Analysis and Product Information Sheet. The collection is available now to researchers who enquire directly, with full public listing of the isolate catalogue opening in June 2026.
High-Throughput Cultivation Platform
Submit your own samples and receive authenticated, fully characterised bacterial isolates accompanied by comprehensive genomic data and supporting documentation, without the need to establish or maintain specialised in-house cultivation infrastructure. The platform accepts samples from any human body site as well as environmental and non-human matrices, subject to feasibility assessment.
